TOA rackets are quite popular in Hong Kong at 1995 to 1996. This brand introduced the AXE system at that moment, the shaft is flat rahter than round to increase flexibility. After 1996, there are no new models in Hong Kong any more.
i have not heard much about this brand but from looking at some of their racquets i want to try them out now. one question though forrestyung when you say the shaft is flat well exactly how flat are we talking? cause this is new to me i havnt seen this on any other racquet...is it represented by the values in the cross section?
Speaking of Toalson, I just strung a Toalson DuraPower 1800. It's a nice racket. Lightweight, good balance, good feel. The racket frame is quite thick. I like the thicker frame and love the balance. One caveat, the DP1800 was about 5-7mms shorter than my Woven 7 which is standard length. I'd say to inquisitive Badders, Toalson rackets are worth a look.

Would be hard enough to find any even if there are reviews ... Any particular store in mind? I tried out 3 briefly last year and their names are even more vague than li-ning but out of the three I liked a Wave Nano Power but can't remember whether it was 03 or 05 (think 03), the pic on the toalson site look too much alike. The other two were ovals if I remember correctly ... The coach there is/was selling them and had these to try out , the guy who eventually bought it paid something in the area of 80 euro for it (might have had more but these are the ones he recommended the guy to try). Recently got my hands on a Toalson Camblade Rev 3 and wrote a quick review on the blog. http://everythinggoeshere.blogspot.com/2012/04/badminton-racket-review-toalson.html Compared with the other Japanese racket *ahem* Yonex *ahem* it's really good value for money. Quick and powerful, and very very affordable. I'm impressed. Will definitely look out for more of them.
Yeah, I'm beginning to like their overgrips - nice feel and doesn't dirty as fast as the others I've tried.
