I agree with you. Even I live in Taiwan, I can barely know the result from press . Actually there are a lot of people playing badminton. I don't expect sport channels like ESPN, or STAR SPORT will broadcast, but even the local channel won't.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Not much action on the last game..
    Take care all..

STARSPORT'S slogan is "we know your games", actually they don't, they seldom broadcast badminton events, they don't know that badminton is one of the most popular sports in asia :)

Tony pairs up with Cheng Wen-Hsing and beat Lee Jae Jin/Lee Hyo Jung:eek:

In the last picture, you can see the Indonesian team (current and ex players). Tony Gunawan, Halim Heryanto, Vita Marissa, some unrecognized young players and team officials were there.

Note that Team Indonesia is sending only its second-team to Chinese Taipei Open. The first team has already returned back to Jakarta in preparation for the SEA GAMES in Manila.

So far, Maria Kristin Yulianti and Devin Lahardi/Vita Marissa have advanced to the quarter-final. Only the results for the men's doubles team are not out yet. But, I predict that Hendra Gunawan/Joko Riyadi will advance too. The other 2 young pairs are facing tough matches against seeded players (Jung/Han and Tsai/Hu). Unless they create an upset, I think their involvement will end today.

didnt understand

That was yesterday's results! Lazy to translate too since it does not involve any Indonesian players :p :p

Anyway, Team Indonesia's performance so far is not so bad. 3 quarter-finalists guaranteed from the second-team. Can they match the 3 final appearances achieved last year? I think Devin/Vita really has an excellent chance to be the champion here. They only have to deal with Tony/Cheng
