    Hi guys

To make long story short, I am wondering why some racquet is meant for double ? (Amortec 800OF/DF) and some racquet is for single (Amortec 700)

What happen if Amortec 800 used for single, and vice versa?

Does it make huge difference? (what is the difference anyway scientifically?)

    Thanks...

double require fast movement, and usually play on the net

at800de for example, uses aero frame to increase the swing speed and light weight so that you can move fsater around

as for at800of, i never know why they need to exist

any racquet can be used for any purpose.
whatever the company says is a recommendation or a design goal.
    ultimately, its all marketing.

you use whatever racquet suits you.
    pick something you like.
don't let the companies decide what you want to like.

well, compare to tispsx, at800de does swing a-heck-lot faster and a weaker smash

the name "defense" got it right at least :)

but yes, if you feel comfortable defending with "insert a name", then by all means go ahead and use it :)

    At800def

    Hi,
Obviously AT800 DEF is good for double. Actually it is also good for single too except that if u are looking for extreme powerful smash, then u may use AT700 or Mp100 then.AT 800OFF and AT 700 are stiff rackets for offensive players, If u like defensive play plu quick retrieval, then AT 800DEF is a wonderful racket. I love it:D Try all of them and choose an ideal one for yrself.:p

I have an AT800 OF and a NS 7000. Starting off with them, i used my NS for singles, and my AT for doubles. When i broke a string on my NS, i had to use my AT in an upcoming tournament for doubles and singles. My AT performed wonderfully, and after i got the string issue fixed, i tested them out, and i prefer the AT for singles to the NS.

If u use a racket fit for u, it's all good. If the other way, it's a chaos. Regardless whatever the spec says, or sales person's story. ;)

Cooler u seem to really hate Ti-10, I dunno why...

If Cai and Fu arent winning lately I doubt it is because of the Ti-10's. Beside, they were doing worst when they played with AT's :D
