How Does The Pro Train Their Speed???
Hey There..
Few months ago when Li Mao (Malaysian MS Coach) just took over the malaysian MS, i read the newspaper that LI Mao concluded that Malaysian players are not fast enough compare to the other country players like china etc.. In world championship 2005, i notice that the malaysian players are getting faster especially LCW.
I was just wondering what kind of training that Li Mao give to his players to improve their speed. If you guys know any of other national team trainings, you can also share here.. I am interested to know.. thanks..

Does anyone watch Naruto? Do some hard core training like Rock Lee does, wear weights on your arms and legs for the rest of your life

I'm no expert, but I think they do proper Plyometrics training.
There are several threads here by Ruth1 of Badminton Central about the daily training of the Chinese badminton team. Here's one of the threads: Typical Friday and Saturday at IBF WTC Guangzhou

A weight jacket/vest is just that. A jacket/vest that can be weighted. Here's a weight vest:

i personally dont think that having weight jackets is a good idea. in the long run, your knees will be goners

The pros train with weighted vests, so it should be fine. It's the ankle weights that will do long term damage to the joints as they alter the way you move.

Ahhhh, very smart. That's similar to running with a parachute behind you. The raincoat will slow you down. In addition, you heat up very quickly so it has fat burning benefits as well. Very interesting!

No way, they will ask what you are doing and you say training and they will want to do it too.
