I don't think so. They may have an agent who sell them there, but not make.

I doubt any badminton rackets are made here. We don't have the hi-tech machinery and knowledge to make expensive rackets, and cheap rackets will be bulk producede elsewhere and rebranded they sent here.

I was always under the impression that Carlton were made in the UK, but their website's still down. As no one has mentioned them as being UK based, does anyone know where they call home?

I think Ashaway rackets are made in the UK despite the American flag on it.

    Carltons are made in China

3.7, 3.8, 3.9, CSX.......... are made in England,
Started from Boron Classic, Kelvar Classic..........are made in Taiwan
Since 1996, all rackets should be made in China

Definitely not. Although again Proace have a union jack on them, they have no link whatsoever with UK, except some have imports from malaysia.

Calrton is based in UK, they produce their rackets in China, so do all the other racket companies. But seeing how Carlton is based in UK, there main sales group is in the UK and the prices are the highest in the UK.:)

I think RSL is a UK-based brand . . . but their products, their rackets specifically, are all made in China.

I don't believe Ashaway rackets are made in the UK.
I understand they are made in the Far East (China/Taiwan?).

I think they meant Carlton rackets most expensive in the UK, not most of all brands.

Yehlex are made in china. John Mott-never heard of them, but since you say from yesteryear then I assume they are not made anymore.

I think that carltons were manufactured in the UK before, the moved to china. In my carlton rackets i have i see a difference between the older and new ones. the older ones i have are the rasmussen airblade and as-1. the serials pressed in the bottom cap are not as machine like (as in a extremely straight line) compared to newer ones such as new as-1's, ramussen tour, and the as ti-superlite. can anyone else confirm this? btw the korean carlton site works. it's www.carltonsports.co.kr.

I used to play with John Mott Rackets but sadly they no longer exist probably as they cost £150+ at the time and were hand made.

I think Apacs has something to do with UK, but I'm not sure if they're based in UK or something.

No just got Btish flag on them. Nothing to do with UK other than that.

Same as Pro-ace as mentioned a few posts earlier ( I think Pro Ace = Apacs)
