hi guys .. im looking for a long lasting shuttle .. which brand and model is the best at reasonable price?? thanks .. ..
Durable shuttlecocks Hi afham07, If u want good shuttles, then the price will be slightly higher. Protech Championship is quite good at RM$41/- per tube. Or likewise, u may consider Protech Tournament(green) at RM$39/- per tube. Venue: Pertama Complex,KL. Adios. Adidas Lee
Try Tactic Blue, Green or Red. I just started using them and definitely A+++ on durability. I'm going to try Tactic Iron next.
10 thanks for the info .. i dont really mind about the price as long as it is less than rm50 .. .. i saw 1 yonex brand .. erm .. around rm43 .. is it good and long lasting?? nyway, do u know the price of yonex nanospeed 8000 and yonex armotec 800OF and also yonex armotec 700 .. is the price of 800of and 800de is same?? oh ya .. 1 think, is pertama complex is the best place in kl to get badminton stuff?? thanks dude .. ..
If you & your friends always take care of the feathers after scoring, Yonex AS50 will be perfect. If not, don't use AS50. You will break it as fast as other shuttles.
I think Victor sucks since it became made in China. I always use Victor 5.5 years ago, and for 1.5 years I was satisfied with its quality. Then suddenly, its quality droped dramatically after it became made in China. I thought it was temporally and kept using it for 1 year. But I was wrong, Victor's quality was gone and never came back. Recently, after its price going up, its quality became even worse. I am using Yonex AS50 now. Below is my experience using both for 2 years. For practice AS50: $450 NTD @7-9 days with good care @3 days without good care. Victor $400 NTD @1.5 Days with or without good care For game AS50 @1.5-2 double with good care @1 double without good care Victor @<0.7 double And speaking of performance and consistency AS50 is overwhelming
I don't think it's fair to say Victor "sucks". It may not be as good as before but compared to its peers, the Victor Champion No. 3 at $10/tube is good. The Victor Blue is good at $12/tube The Victor Champion No. 1 is just plain good. Again, this is relative, compared to its peers, based on my experience.
i think Protech Championship not that gd as Protech pt10. but i think malaysia side no sell pt10. u can try Protech masterpiece see hw.
we use aeroplane (red or black) or AS40....about the same price i think...lasts long as long as you don't mishit it always...if price is no object, go for the AS50...
For the price of $10, Victor Champion #3 is not a bad shuttle, especially, if the game is not too intensive with tons of bullet shooting smash or slices. However, one thing I noticed is, the quality lacks consistency sometimes. In the 2 boxes I got, most of the tubes are good. However, there do have several tubes, certain shuttles seems "not last long" even in not too intensive doubles.
Hmmmm, good to know. I will give them some feedback about the consistency, thanks. But I will say, now, in this price range, all the shuttles are basically similar in durability or less. If you want a durable shuttle, it's gonna be $16/tube or more. I guess blame the Asian Bird Flu on that.
