Do you have a coach, either personal coach or the coach of your school team (which school do you play for?) He/she should be able to advise you. If not, one is recommended.... see the Singapore subforum on getting coaching .

if you really wnat it, just practise more. do some stamina-training. 2 vs 1 drills..that sorta stuff...

ask your coach/trainer to critisise every mistake you make, and make a note to yourself what/how to change it...

just don't forget you still gotta like the game:P

if you can't have a coach try to record yourself playing

you will see how obvious your mistakes are

pick some of them (e.g. how and where do you stay when waiting for the return) and try to improve

    hope this helps

    regards

This does not make sense. Either you are good and your friends are lying to you or your friends are a lot better than you are.

Can you compete with your friends? If so, don't worry about what they say.

R U from the Dark side

Believe in yourself that you are a better player than what others say, used negative comments to strenghten your mental fitness.(Mental fitness is very important in badminton in the more advance stages. ). As your coach mention about your footwork... poor stamina could be due to poor footwork...so is very important that you improved on it. Do rope skipping for 5 to 10 minutes (varies the speed of skipping i.e slow -fast-slow . Next do some spilt movement, chasse movement, lunge forwards and all the basic movements for another 10 t0 15 minutes (ensure that all the movements are done correctly) have a break and finally do 3 to 10 minutes of shadow badminton with total concertation/focus as if you are playing again a professional player making sure that you cover all corners and make it as realistic as you can.At first it's look crazy but after a few days your form will improved. But REMEMBER BELIEVE IN YOURSELY and you will make it's happen.

Nope, I'm from West Los Angeles.

Don't listen to your friends. Just play your game and have fun.
