As for the stringing, I think every badminton shop in the world string rackets with customers' choices. And again, it's not free anyway and I wouldn't be impressed about that.
At last, at800 is not the only thing on sale, in fact, they have their whole shop on sale. Everything is in red font and it's just a way for making people think they got a deal. Comparing with US shops, it is still more expensive though.

Well, I'm not impress at all about the price they sales the racquets in this market. You don't get any deal from that website.

The Montreal place claims to have it for C$240. This place is $10 cheaper than Toronto's Brown's for the 800 but the Victor Super Nano is a lot cheaper at Brown's - as in $70 cheaper!! The Yonex MP-99 and NS7000 are also $35 and $20 cheaper respectively.

and to have it professionally done with no worries of being scammed out of a legit racket was a treat for me.

We know your initial intention was good but the purpose of this forum is to share with the other badminton lovers where to get the right racquet at an ideal/reasonable price. So, you can't said "We are fussy".

If you are ever in victoria, get your rackets strung at courtside. I cut all my strings on both my badminton and squash rackets and get them done there whenever i'm passing through.
