Fonde Badminton Club has 8 courts (2 reserved for kids), with a variety of levels being played. It's right in Downtown Houston, Fridays 6-9PM. Visit http://www.houstonbadmintonclub.com, pm me for more details.

I think I am going to look for other places to play as I have been informed today that the fees will be raised from $7/visit to $12/visit at Chancellors. The rate is amost doubled!!

Anybody knows any places to play badminton around Houston areas?
(excluding Rice, UH, Chancellors, and Fonde please)

There are scattered Chinese churches along the Highway 6 stretch that have Badminton courts, a few of the players also frequent Fonde. So ask around next time you're at Fonde's.

Wow, thats a huge jump; Here in dallas they are planning to increase the rates from $4 to $5. Te reason they are attributing to is "Bird Flu" in Asia....

Why does the "Bird Flu" affect the court fees? (unless you are talking about the court fees includes the shuttles?

I will be staying in OMNI Hotel-Katy Freeway for 2 week (30/11/2008-11/12/2008), wondering if there is any places that I can watch people play badminton near the hotel area.
Do I have to be a member to be able to enter to the badminton center and watch or play badminton?
