Just got my hands on some Wilson X-tra Tack. Put some on my AT500. I didn't get a chance to play with it yet but I love the feel so far. It's like fly paper! Extremely tacky.

    Hey Sir Dink,

I am just wondering if you compare price Micro tack and Wilson pro overgrip side by side which one do you prefer most and why?

I have used Pro OverGrip but i have yet to try MicrotTack do you think it is worth to go for a try ??

And also is yonex supergrap any where near these 2 grips???

For me, MicroTac is better than the Pro OverGrip which I think is good but not great. It's not as tacky as I would like it to be.

Yonex Supergrap is first-rate initially out of the package but starts too lose tackiness very fast and is not durable.

A suggestion.... maybe if you can Dink, maybe start a thread very similar to this one, but this time, instead of Overgrips, make it on replacement grips

I was but I don't use replacement grips anymore.

Fortunately, in general, any replacement grip with your preferred tackiness will out perform any overgrip. Replacements grips are:

+significantly more durabe, I would say at least a 5 to 1 ratio
+far better cushioning as they are much thicker

Replacement grips costs more, $4-$6 each (even more for premium true leather). They are also harder to put on and remove.

But if you like replacement grips, just find your preferred texture, tackiness and thickness and you're all set.

just got a pack of gamma supremes and they're awesome, might even say too tacky! (if thats possible) great review dan! the grips were 4.99 plus tax so i think about 5.34 usd for 3 grips, i feel it was well worth it.

I hear Tournagrip is great for sweaty hands but lacks in durability.

Look at the review, it has ratings. The best of the best though is probably the Prince No Sweat!, but it's not a tacky grip.

I heard that Prince is going to stop producing Price MicroTac..

The reason that they have a wide range of grip...

I bought the last one off the shelf...

Who's "they?" For me, Prince's line of grips, MicroTac is the best tacky and No Sweat! is the best non-tacky.

DuraTac has poor durability and average cushioning.
