Yonex warns that the maximum tension of MP88 4U/G4 is 21lbs ~ 9kg. Is it too low. Does Any one here string this racket with 22lbs and above?

I m fear that my MP88 can not bear that tension. I currently string my MP88 at 21lbs, which doesn't sastify me when playing.

Is it safe to increase to 22 or 23lbs? Any advice? Thanks.

the recommended tensions are very conservative. you can easily string it to 25lbs and above for high end rackets. however, if your racket breaks at this tension and yonex finds out (don't know how they would, though), you can't claim your warranty. i would say go ahead and string it to your desired tension, many members here have their rackets strung way past the recommended limit.
