I'm trying to get some opinions from other AT500 owners about the ideal tention for the racquet when strung with bg-65 ti. I had it strung at 25lbs before, and it lasted me 8 months, is this normally good for a AT500 strung with this string?

    Hey man,

I think that the best tension is 23 lbs.
I've been reading a lot about it on this forum, and it is what my AT800 is strung at.

It should last a little longer than 25 lbs too.

    just my opinion... :D

    see you in school.

There's NO a general ideal tension or racket or combo for anyone. You are the only one know the answer for yourself. Ask yourself the question, if you are happy with the performance of your previous combo or not. If yeah, then it's good for you. If no, consider change it.

Btw, any string last for 8 months means it at least good for the durability and price.

If you liked your racket strung at 25lbs., then don't change a thing. If you want more power, then drop the tension a pound or two. If you want more control, then increase the tension a pound or two.
