Chetan Anand wins Irish Open Bangalore: Chetan Anand emerged champion in the Irish Open badminton championship that concluded at Lisburn on Sunday. According to a press release from the Padukone Badminton Academy, Chetan, ranked number 26 in the World, upset Eric Pang, ranked 24 and the tournament's top-seed, 8-15, 15-6, 15-7 in the final. It was Chetan's second consecutive title after winning the Welsh Open last week. Earlier in the semifinals, Chetan defeated England's Aamir Ghaffar 15-8, 15-9.
