staying at whistler for a family gathering from dec 23-28...NEED BADDI during that time...anyone know if there's any place to play there?!
yep, you're one confuzzled freak alright. i think some booze would help you get through the 'dry' period up there in whistler
that doesnt stop other 99.9% of teens out there if u stay indoor, it's no danger. just download some badminton video and sit back with some grand marnier and chill out I hope u like orange
Hi Cooler... as much as it is the festive season, and altho stats out there indicate plenty of teenage drinking, let's not make light of this - especially not to kid/tempt some of the younger members into something they may not otherwise do... confuzzled freak - good on you! drinking is extremely overrated, and is not necessary for any enjoyment. my kids don't drink, even tho they are of legal age (except for little badrad - waiting another few months). but they could care less about getting intoxicated.
yes, i was prolly half drunk when i wrote that however, i do use common sense. Age limited on drinking is just a legality issue. Mental maturity is more important. 18 years old +1 minute is legal in our judicial system isn't much mature than him or her 2 minutes before. The important thing is the user knowledge and its application. I'm sure during any christmas dinners, a teen would able to try some wine with parental approval. What i had suggested was a orange liquor which is meant to be sip slowly and use in the confine of a sofa watching badminton videos. I'm sure this is much healthier than go skiing and risk getting wipe out by another skiier or even worst, by an avalanche If u dont believe my half drunken statement, check this out http://www.skipressmag.com/2001/usa/index.asp?centre=liste&clef=Avalanche http://www.skipressmag.com/2001/usa/index.asp?centre=article&recno=1957 Now ask around how many people died from drinking grand marnier while watching badminton videos huh (bring them on )
nooo my thread is getting off topic!!!! lol...so anyone know of anyplace for baddi in whistler yet? i know of a tennis place...but not baddi...where there's tennis there should be baddi...right?? ...or else my bmt fix for this week only consists of...4.5 hrs...2 dropins
There is a place in Pemberton...at a local school...but I can't remember what days or time...It's not much tho...if you call the school, they might be able to tell you what days the badminton is if it's still running...I've been gone for nearly 2 years now so it might have stopped. There's nothing in Whistler itself so if you want to brave the 30 min. drive to Pemberton, go nuts. Dropshot51 is a player from Kelowna and knows the person running the program. PM him (although I haven't seen him post on here in a long time). Hope this helps
