    Hey Vancouver Baddie Fanatics,

I am trying to see the level of interest for those who :crying: :crying: "NEED" :crying: :crying: some badminton during the holidays, specifically for Friday Dec 30/2005.

 Who would be interested and willing to commit to playing on Dec 30???

Time: 3.5-4hrs (sometime between either 1pm-6pm or from 6pm-11pm)
Cost: $10-$12 (includes feather SOSAN shuttles)
    Location: tba

I have a couple of places in mind but the bottom line is the number of players.

If you're interested, PM me with your name & phone number ASAP
(the number of spots are limited!).

    Cheers!

I would like to thank LoveJoy and his group for having me and timeless at their Wednesday night booking at ClearTwo. We really appreciate the opportunity to check out C2 and get in some great games. Would definitely love to oblige them again whenever our schedules permit:).

And it's nice to play with Break-My-String again. The guy never change: he's as intimidating to play against as ever:eek:.

Hey Cappy75, it was great surprise when you and timeless showed up at C2. I didn't know if I was going to make it until the very last minute.

This was the first time I ever played at C2/C1 and especially on a synthetic mats! It felt great (with its soft cushionee sensation) but I found out I couldn't make too many (sliding) lunges on synthetic mats and wound up running once around the court to stop my forward momentum...

...mind you, I do have a lot of momentum around my wasteline! That last match I had against you and timeless, I think my partner and I had over 400 ft-lbs of momentum compared to you & timeless's 280 ft-lbs combined! :D :D :D

Of course, a big thanks to LoveJoy, Robert & the gang for the invite, and it's great to see my friend Collin will be a regular for your Wed C2 sessions. It's a small badminton community out there! ;)

    Cheers!

It was indeed a fun evening of badminton! Thanks LoveJoy and friends! You guys have a good group going there.

I think the new ClearTwo looks great as well. It's been so long since playing on the rubber mat courts, that I forgot how good the traction was on it so I kept stumbling over my own feet.

Break-My-String *LOL* 280 lbs. combined?! You flatter us way too much~! Hahaha... It seems Cappy and I hide our weight quite well... although that could change over the holidays .

Oh I forgot to ask, was Darth Howie there last night? I thought he was supposed to be there as well but it seemed like Cappy and I were the only ones that didn't know most of the players.

Any chance of Dec 28 at C2? I was sick yesterday but won't be able to make Sat at VRC (Xmas/New Year's Eve just don't work with the family).

    I'm lunging 500lbs (eps. after Xmas dinner). :D :D

I'm still in toronto...flying (standby) in tonight.

    My plan:
    -VRC Saturday Night
-C2 on Wednesday night (I've been to C1..but not C2. Is it beside C1?)

I'm still not sure if I can attend the BC gathering on friday night held by B-M-S. Have dinner plans with some old friends...Might be able to squeeze it in but i guarantee that i'll be late...

    Dec 30 Xmas Baddie Cancelled

Due to the number of responses, the Xmas baddie session for the Dec 30th has been cancelled! :crying:

If anybody still want to play, I would recommend checking out Clear Two on Wed, Dec 28th 8pm-11pm, with LoveJoy's group.

    Cheers!

Big thanks to LoveJoy and friends for inviting me to join them in their wednesday session at C2. It was also a pleasure to meet and play with/against Cappy75 and timeless.

Darn...couldn't make it as the wife phoned up at 5pm to tell me that we are meeting friends for dinner at 6pm...

At this rate, I will be so fat that I would not be able to move.
