If you paid with PayPal, file a complaint. Good luck.

Really? I've never seen that before, all my strings say Yonex with one 'x'.

Maybe it's different for Canada or US, or you have double vision

One of the reasons fakes do that is because they think if they do with double Xs, they could get rid of the law. They could argue that's their own brand since "Yonexx" is not "Yonex", but only looks like it.

Many other fake items are like that as well:

    Fake Adidas: "Addidas"
    Fake Nike: "Nikee"
    Fake Burberry: "Burbery"

Sorry for the confusion. IME, The statement applies only to CH (China) packaging. I have only two samples at my disposal, one is real and one is fake.

Thank you DinkAlot. I did pay via PayPal and will make an inquiry if I don't receive the refund...highly unlikely that a refund will be issued from this seller.

After I contacted the seller regarding the fake strings, he acted surprised and said that he'd better check the rest of his stock. Told me to ship them back and a full refund will be issued when stinngs are received. Yeah, right....so he can rip me off once more...what an a/hole.

Well, don't be too quite to judge. If the seller does give you a refund or send you authentic string, it's all good. But if not, rip him a new one.

The original two pictures are the fakes (my initial post on page 1). It's hard to tell fake from real unless you do comparisons. The pictures below are real vs. fake.

Picture 1) Real is the one on the right
Picture 2) Real is the top one, fake on bottom (notice the poor, uneven print).
Picture 3) Fake "YONEXX" labeling and is also poorly printed and hard to read.

I have also purchased strings from come4thebestprices aka andykousa.

I previously bought bg68ti and bg85 from them. Both CH versions as well. However, none of what you said match the description of mines when I compared. Mines says YONEX not YONEXX. And if you ask me I would say that the strings are fairly durable. I am using the bg85 on my mp99 right now and it's holding out pretty well. I used it for over 3+ months and the strings have yet to break and I tell you that I'm a hard hitter so I'm surprised.

However when I hit, it doesn't feel like real strings. I don't feel a solid impact thought. So yea i would say that they are pretty fake but very durable. Lol.

That again, says the quality of the fake stuff is very inconsistent.
