Three letters to explain how I feel about my shoes... W.T.F. The silver and some red at the back of the shoe is wearing off!!! Probably due to friction with the ground. Has this hapened to any of you?
How long have you been wearing it? So far i have been wearing it for few months but don't have this problem. My friend had been wearing it earlier than me also don't have this problem.
are you referring to the heel area? if so, then its from the friction from when you rub your heels together, such as brushing them past each other when you cross over with your feet. don't worry about it
I've had the 99 LEs for 4 months now, wear them 4-5 times a week and put them through a serious workout. Nothing has rubbed off or broken. They are very dependable shoes. Make sure you have real shoes, not fakes.
Hmmm... i dun have this problem at the moment. I think you can mail them and ask them. I had tried e-mail them and ask them few question. I think they will answer you soon. support@yonexusa.com
its wearing off because thats the bit of the foot that drags along the ground when you lunge and drag your trailing foot. the ball of the foot draags and rubs off the shiny coating from the trainer.
Sign of wear and tear. Its common to all the shoes due to harsh use on court. Well you can to take care of your shoes all the time to prevent these things happening. Fortunately, mine still looks new after many months of using.
Same here, mine still look pretty new after 4 months of wear and tear. Probably just your style of play (sliding or dragging your feet), not a big deal.
i've had mine for 2months now... literally brand new, no marks no scratches what so ever.... oh yeah, its still in the box hahahah
That wearing off is standard for all badminton players. It's always on the opposite foot of your racquet hand and like mentioned before, it's from lunging forward heh. Anyway, I have those marks on my right foot since I am left-handed. All my friends have those marks on their shoes too so don't worry about it. If you don't have it, then I'm pretty sure you're playing very lazily
What I think people should do is trade shoes with opposite hand players. I mean I always have a left shoe which is always perfectly fine but my right shoe is always worn out, so if anybody out there who is a size 8 and is left handed want my shoe? Speak up
and I abuse the floor(s) instead The paint off is pretty common wear to all shoes. It's the same with white shoes where the white paint is coming off due to the contacts with the floor.
