What I think people should do is trade shoes with opposite hand players. I mean I always have a left shoe which is always perfectly fine but my right shoe is always worn out, so if anybody out there who is a size 8 and is left handed want my shoe? Speak up

Disagree Sir, some of us don't abuse shoes. We abuse our toes.

Man, you must be hard on shoes. I guess you have good foot work.

How much more lasting than Low-end Yonex shoes?
Lindanfan, do you think SHB99 is more durable than other lower-end Yonex shoes in terms of this aspect? I'm just afraid i might face the same fate as you after i've bought the shoes. My previous shoes (low-end Yonex shoes) have this sort of wear & tear too. I'm playing 2-3 days per week, 2 hours per session. Preferably, I would like the SHB-99 to last for 6 months or so. Do you think this is possible?

i was speaking to a shop owner at a tournament and he said that the shb90's weren't very durable either. he said the most durable were the shb70's but i have no experience to back this up.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to think carefully before getting one. Btw, in your opinion, is there any difference between the SHB 99 Ltd and the normal SHB99 in terms of durability and comfort?

absolutely, due to the fact LTD is in a different fabric... normal 99 is more like leather, LTD is more of a synthetic look/touch

Sorry, I don't think you have answered my question. My question is which shoes are better in terms of durability and comfort?

Neither!
Kidding!
I have no idea about normal STD 99 but it depends of the user, I think durability is medium to good and confort is actually good, the Limited edition is large so if you have thin feets I'd go for normal 99. But of that I'm not sure, thats what I've been told (about the limited being larger)

Do you find your SHB99 durable especially on the wear and tear at the inside of your left shoe?

Have both and I think the same, just color difference and maybe a few other minor things. I do feel the LEs are more comfortable but it's probably all in my head.

The inside of my left shoe?
Well I'm a lefty, it's not supposed to wear off
the colour wears off on my right foot on the inside
But then again, confort is what matters, it's durable, yet the silver stops shining if you rub it too hard...(LTD)
If i was you i'd go for Limited

From the feedback, I guess the LEs are better. Thanks, I will start looking for one pair to test out.

Hehe, don't worry, the toe area of my right shoe is completely worn out... from about a year's worth of use.
