Here we go :) I hope you won't be bothered too much about my grammar.

    Woven 8A

    Specs: 3UG4/5
    Strings: BG65
    Tension: 23 Lbs
Grip: Old grip removed and replaced with towel grip
    Even balance

    First Impression:
It looks great. Red like blood. Very nice paint job, and I especially like the painting on the shaft.

    Warm Ups:
At first I mishitted everything, coming from a heavier, more head-heavy and longer racquet(MP99), my timing was completely off. It is as stiff, if not stiffer than the MP99, and despite the light weight of the racquet, it can generate some serious heat when used properly.

    Game Time Impression:
After adjusting my timing, it was like heaven. It is great from the back, and deadly at the net. Even though its light, it can generate some real power. Even more than the MP99, thats what I experienced. The Woven 8 was superioer to the MP99 in every way. I think its the stiff shaft that helps with the power. Great at drives, reflex saves and alikes. I think the best part about the racquet is the feel/touch at the net, and the ability to do last-second flicks.

Great racquet for about 100USD, IMO better than the top-end Yonex´es I have tried.

    I would rate it:

    Feel: 9/10
    Control: 8/10
    Power: 7/10
    Defense: 9/10

Recommended to intermediate-advanced players, can be used for both doubles/singles.

Thanks for the review Taber; but 7/10 for power seems a bit low to me especially when you said it's more powerful than an MP99. :p

Yeah, I really like how the Woven pattern is mixing with the paint design too.

Good quality + Good pricing + Good performance = Highly recommanded ;)

    Hm.. :p

I somehow must have mixed up the AT700 and MP99 when I compared power.

So you're saying the AT700 has only a 7/10 for power? I feel the AT700 is even more powerful than the MP99 but doesn't have the control, feel nor defense.

No, thats not what I meant. In my head I said "Oh, the Woven8 is NOT as powerful as AT700, so I give it 7", but I meant to say "Oh, its more powerful than MP99, I will give it 8, maybe 9" I don't know if it makes sense.

OK, so Woven 8 = 9/10 and AT700 = 10/10 for power, yes? If so, that make sense. :D

DRaGoNoVA: how much would a sotx racquet like this roughly cost at the safra shop?

That "white part" is actually DOT (Department Of Transportation) Approved Reflective Tape. I just use that to identify my rackets. :p
