just like hockey, US is gonna hogs all the ex pros.
But then again it would be the quickest way to bring badminton into US as mainstream sport

The U.S. could always use Sigit. Tony, Halim, Sigit...we'd just need Candra. ;)

Kim Dong Moon?! KDM! KDM! I'd love it for KDM to move to the U.S. I'd like to see if I could defend his smashes. :p

i wouldnt worry about that part, candra would prolly quit too seeing tony, halim and eventually sigit are doing well offshore. There is more to life than giving your life away to the pbsi

if badminton do take off in US/canada, pbsi will end up as a training organization :p

Yes, the U.S. has the deepest pockets but they are very unwilling to pay for something they don't believe in. The U.S. definitely doesn't believe in Badminton. If it did, the top players would be making millions.

Definitely, as much as I would like KDM in the U.S., the wealth needs to be spread. :D

During my recent encounter with Sigit. Retirement does comes in mind. But he will want to see weather he still have the desire to play badminton or not. The game is getting more competitive and of course with the recently change of the game format. But Sigit has not decide yet.

Yeah.. and you can't have 2 arch enemies playing together representing a new country together. Imagine KDM pair with Tony for Team USA? ahhah

Well, part of your wish is set to come true, of course, as Kim is flying to Vancouver next week. As for Calgary, we're still waiting.
Are you referring to Kim plus the Samsung boys who are visiting Calgary? Or are there other ex-Korean pros who have landed in Canada? I suppose if one considers the Canadian Open for this year and 2003(?), Canada seems to be a popular destination for both future and former Korean pros.
So the Sigit news is all still rumour, right? The most reliable source we have seems to be ants's conversation with him. Ants, was that pre-rally point?
