    Too bad that you wanted Woven 8, I have lots of brand new Woven 4A plus other series but no Woven 8. Pete LSD just bought out all my Woven 7 ;)

    Your official SOTX agent is Rob Okamoto. His email is available on the link that CanuckBur posted

    No idea coz the last time I saw him was in White Rock. I think he's in Surrey but is all over the GVRD badminton places demo'ing the racquets.

    He's good that he will let you keep the demo racquets for days to try.

    Strung one Woven 7 to 30 lbs X 33 lbs already! The racquet is kind of light for my taste but it works. Thanks Winex West Can!!!

    Kind of light? It swings a bit heavier than my 2U Ti10s. :eek: :p

    It depends . . . Every Woven 7 is different in static balance and mass. I bought four from WWC and all four are different:

    First one is 90 grams;
    Second one is 89 grams;
    Third one is 88.5 grams;
    Four one is 88 grams.

    Go figure

    Interesting, you have lighter ones. Mine are all 92, 92, and 94 grams. This includes string and an extra overgrip.

    Your W7s are in the tolerance levels (well almost all :p) 91 grams +/- 2 grams .

    How do you like the racket? Any review?

    The mass I specified do not include strings and grips.

    The construction of the frame is quite solid. But somehow I still prefer Ti-10 :D. I just don't know why. The drilling of the grommet holes could be better -straighter.

    What do you like about the Ti10 over the W7? I prefer the W7 because it feels more stable, more solid, a bit more powerful. Downside, the W7 is not as mobile in defense. W7 is stiffer than the Ti10.

    I will say, to fullly wield the W7, you have to be on the ball. The Ti10 is easier to play with, especially when tired. :p

    It's the balance of the Ti-10. It's so intoxicating. I find Woven 7's shaft not that stiff at all compared to the Ti-10.

    Really? I guess my Ti10s were older because they were definitely not as stiff as my Woven 7s. Go figure.

    Hey Okoman,

    When are you going to bring your gang down to Collingwood on Sunday mornings? We need to train for WA Open 2006...besides, we need some fresh meat! :D

    Cheers!
