Badminton on CBC (for canadians)

    I just saw that CBC will show the Swiss Open on Sat Apr 27th from 13:00 to 14:30 and then replay Sunday at 23:30-01:00.

    I don't have the details of what they will show, but usualy they give us all the finals (highlights and the ens of each game)

    Thanks for info. BTW, are those Eastern Times? It also seems strange that they would choose to play the Swiss Open over the other major tournaments.

    I'm not certain as to time zone but if you check the CBC site, you'll be able to see the TV program it's playing in and then check for your local listing to get the same program.

    Oh ya if you do down to the bottom. It says that all times are in eastern.

    i have always hated the cbc for not broadcasting the olympics properly

    basically they only show us the sports they think we want to see...

    rather than show all of canada's atheletes competting they only focus on certain names/in certain sports (in many cases)

    at first i thought they only showed sports in which Canadians were competing but

    i know that many many times i even recall watching sports in which there we're NO canadians participating shown live - while Canadians WERE infact competing in other sports such as badminton.... then later they show a 30 second clip to show that we lost.. if we won or had an upset.. it seems they only still have about 2 mins of coverage becuase theyd bet we'd lose beforehand in those events so they dindt bother wasting film on them ;(

    i've been watching olympics since i was 6 years old.. and i've always wanted to see ALL the sports.. they still can't get it right


    i'm happy that tehy are showing this though.. its a start.
