I'm sorry to 'waking up' an old thread..
I'm currently in Taiwan, and right now i wanna search for a badminton store ( with good stringer and good after-sales service too
) in South Part of Taiwan ( either Kaohsiung or Tainan City )
could u guys recommend me 1 or 2 stores to go? I know a store in Tainan City ( at Mingcyuan Lu ) where I usually go, but I think sometimes the price is a little bit high than it should be..
thank you very much
*FYI, i can't read chinese character too well*

Those stores highlighted in blue are the flagship stores in South Taiwan. I heard 泰山 in Kaohsiung is popular.

Apologize for digging out an old thread
but I will be traveling to Taiwan this Sunday for my wedding photo shoot. And would like to do some shopping for badminton stuff at the same time.
Would some fellow-forumer's kindly confirm are the two shop mention in Taipei still around? Or have relocated to elsewhere?
Also, I will be visiting Kaohsiung for this trip, so I would love to do some badminton stuff shopping in this city as well.
Thank you in advance

I know this reply may come too late, but hope it helps on your future visits to Taipei, Taiwan
There's a great place in Taipei City to play badminton and it is quite convenient to get to.
Here's the Address for the badminton shop and the facility:
Champion Sports
7Floor, No. 1 HsinYi Road, Section 1, Taipei City, Taiwan
Telephone: +886-2-2392-8099
Email: championstar99@yahoo.com.tw
ZhongZheng Sports Center
No. 1 HsinYi Road, Section 1, Taipei City, Taiwan
It is about 5minute walking distance from 2 popular MRT stations. The facility is a city owned sport center with 5 badminton courts, and a lot of other indoor sports facilities such as archery, basketball, golf, table tennis, swimming pool, etc. They charge quite reasonably for court usage, it's air conditioned. Oh, another plus, is that there's a badminton shop right on the floor where the courts are at. They sell all badminton related products and accessories. Racket prices are very reasonable as well. They sell Yonex, Victor, Flypower, MMOA, Fleet, etc. It's worth the visit Have fun when in Taipei!

Hi, good evening people! I will be travelling to Taipei this week. I would like to know what stores I can get the cheapest genuine yonex or victor badminton shoes. I apologize that I do not understand mandarin so I cannot read the address on previous posts. I will be staying near Jiantan station. Are there badminton shoe stores in Shilin market? Thank you

Might not be the cheapest but I believe the nearest store is Jie Li in Shilin.
http://www.jollysport.com.tw/
http://www.jollysport.com.tw/merchan...=1&CateID=AA01
its approx 15 mins walk from Shilin market or 5 mins cab ride.
Address:
中正路426,428,430號
No. 426, 428, 430, Zhongzheng Road
Phone: 02-2836-3168 02-2836-3178
You could find the exact location on Google maps if you copy and paste this address:
台北市士林區中正路426
http://maps.google.com/
Note: Standard discounts would be 30% off the retail prices.

Hi,
I know in ZhongZheng Sports Center 7Floor, they have reasonable prices for Victor rackets and Yonex Rackets, they also do good on spot stringning. I have friends from Brunei and Singapore whom was recommended here and they eventually did purchased, so I am sure the price is nice and reasonable.
You can have your cousin come over and check!
It's easy to get there by MRT.
It is about 5minute walking distance from MRT station (NTU Hospital Station Exit No. 2).
