    My predictions:

    The winners are:

    Ms : Xia Xuanze :p
Ws : Zhu Lin  She is the next rising star.
Md : Jung Jae-sung/Lee Young-dae (they are danger)
Wd : Zhang Dan/Zhao Tingting (they have same quality as Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen)
Xd : Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms (no doubt), it's a good preparation for All England...

I think currently Chinese has many strong Wd players such as Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen, Gao Ling/Huang Sui, Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen, Zhang Dan/Zhao Tingting, Du JIng/Yu Yang. The fact will cause difficulties for another country to compete. The very close competitors are Lee Kw/Lee Hj from Korea and Reiko Shiota/Kumiko Ogura from Japan.

We can see that Lee Kw/Lee Hj has already beaten by Chinese pair number 4 in the semifinal.

I thought I was wrong that i predicted Jung Jae-sung/Lee Young-dae as finalists, even though I made most my predictions right

If not my mistake, the MD final should be Boe Mathias/Mogensen Carsten vs Chan Chong Meng/Koo Kien Kiat.

My prediction the winner for MS is Lee Chong wei :)

    Predictions

    MS: Lee CW (60%)
I expect a close match. I think it depends on Lee's form. If his form is good, he should be able to beat Xia.

    WS: Zhu Lin (60%)
I think Zhu may already be the third singles player for China (deposing Zhou Mi).

    MD: Boe/Mogensen (70%)
If Boe/Mogensen withdraws from the final, it will be the easiest title for Chan/Koo ever.

    WD: Du/Yu (60%)
    My gut feeling says Du/Yu.

    XD: Robertson/Emms (80%)
I don't require my gut feeling for this.

    Prediction for MS

I still believe Lee Chong Wei will win the title eventhough Xia is on fire in this tourney, unless LCW is off-form today. That is my prediction for MS:)

how ironic it is that you had 90% confidence yesterday that gade would win against xia xuanze, but today you expect a Close match between chong wei and xxz:rolleyes: and that 'if his form is Good, he Should be able to beat Xia.'

Why should it be ironic (BTW an overused and often misused word)? Today is another day, and if Xia can beat Gade (whose form I think is good), it changes the whole complexion. If we do not have the benefit of watching the matches, we can only guess from the preceding results.

    My prediction goes to :

    MS : Lee Chong Wei
(though I think it will be a tough match against Xia)

    WS : Xu Huaiwen
(She has more experience, but seems also be a hard and tough match)

MD : Chan Choong Ming/Koo Kien Keat
(I hope they can perform better and better)

    WD : Zhang Dan/Zhao Tingting

    XD : Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms

then, all the more curiosity as to why if you were Guessing, you had 90% confidence that xia would fall to Gade. after all you haven't had the chance to watch..

hehe - nice work hcyong, think your gut feeling could be very dangerous in betting circles - i doubt that du/yu were expected to beat Dan/TT

good win for the new pair.

personally i don't think Zhao TT shows enough "fire" in her matches. Obviously she wants to win....but i'll bet there was more hi-fives and fist pumping from Du and Yu today:eek:
