Anyone encountered their pc beeping 3 times continuously and not booting up? Whats the cause and how to resolve it? Do PM me if possible. Appreciate your help. tks.
What he said. If it's three beeps, normally something is loose in there. Short beeps should be the AGP whilet I think loooong continuous beeps are normally of the memory module?
Have you added anything new to the PC? You may want to try popping out your RAM and resetting back into the same slots. If that fails, try another slot, but ideally it should be sitting on slot #1. Cheers!
long beep usually means memory failure. try removing the rams and then clean the contacts and put them back in again.
new CDROM drive problem. ok. swapped my memory and it works. Now.. my cdrom (samsung RW) drive doesn't seems to read anything. I've put in a few CDs and its blank when I launch the explorer. What's the cause? Drive head dirty? Connection problems? CDROM Drivers says ok.:crying: :crying: Appreciate your help guys!
