check back on that other thread again. I've brought up more factors to consider. I'm sure that I didn't get everything right, but I've brought up some points that neither you nor I had mentioned before & tried to clarify some of my previous assertions. goto... http://www.badmintonforum.com/forums/read.php?f=2&i=23695&t=23695

OK, OK guys. I really think we need some well referenced articles in the scientific literature to start off with. If these don't exist, I hope some University dept can look into it and then get some more University funding thus justifying their existance. what would be more appropriate, a physics department or a sports science department? And if anybody bases their Ph D on this, I want an acknowledgementas well!
Good idea, Cheung! Perhaps you could spearhead this project. We've got bit & pieces of real knowledge and a lot of speculation going on here. Unfortunately, this type of info is not readily availble, tho' I' sure that someone like guys at Yonex could shed some light on this. BTW badrad, I'm in the SF Bay area.
Re: Good idea, Cheung! I wouldn't mind. However, my background is biological sciences with badminton as a side interest. I may look into other scientific investigations in the furture but there are many "if's" along the way.
