But a Yonex coat? Why? Its not like you are going to play badminton in a coat. I agree with jerby... except you'll look a bit too fanatical even in the company of other badminton fanatics...

yonex do produce coats like this but i presumed that they were for golf or snowboarding because they just wouldn't be practical for badminton:cool:

Thats what i would have thought but theyre found in the badminton clothing catalogue so I don't know! I do agree that they are pointless for badminton but I think they are more for fashion than anything else

the only players that i can see benefitting from wearing yonex coats are pro's because it would be for advertising more than anything else

This isn't really a debate about the ethics of wearing the coat or not. He's just another fanatic like all of us.

Sorry. I don't know where you can buy them but Yonex certainly makes them. You can buy them in Korea. This, this, and this all might fit the bill but the middle one looks most likely to be a truly long coat.

my guess is that they are mostly exclusive to sponsered players but you can probably get hold of them in hong kong, china or japan

You can definitely find them in Japan. There must be one at shuttle-house. Just click on the manufacturer's catalog, and select the Yonex wear one

It will be really since if the coat is long and you can hide two rackets at inner left and right pockets :D:D

It's just like matrix. Totally cool :p

can't follow you here.. Why would a Yonex coat look dorky? Probably a lot cooler looking than what those dorks other you are talking about wear :)

The photos I posted were from the Yonex Mall in Korea. You can buy this one there for about US$140 and this one for about US$90. The first one claims to be made with "teflon" and "hiwaterproof".

You'd think BBE Shop would have one but I can't find the same product codes as on the Korean website. You can try looking at all the photos there, though. I found they only worked on the Chinese BBe site. I read somewhere that BBe ships overseas but don't quote me on that.
