NS7000 felt the lightest but was soon ruled out. Completely lifeless is the best way I can describe it. I don't know how Yonex classifies it but I'd say receive/doubles. Even clears were difficult to get end to end. Maybe it's my swing but I had a hard time adjusting (currently use CAB 20 original w 19lbs ashaway vantage string)

MP66 and AT800DE were somewhat similar. MP66 seemed to have slightly more power on a full swing but less power on a shortened swing. MP66 also seemed to vibrate a bit more after contact.

Overall the best of the three was the AT800DE. Best power, felt the most balanced and solid. Easiest to do backhand clears. If it matters it was 3U string at 25lbs. MP66 was strung at 22 I believe. Maybe that's some of the difference? Odd since I'm used to a very light tension.

Caveats : all were tested with feather shuttle, I wonder if results would be different with plastic?

I tend to agree with your comment re the NS 7000. Seems to be a bit listless... not crisp to play with.. altho I had to admit, my backhand with it is not bad..

As of today.. have played with the E-1000 for a total of about 8games over two playing days..... it is faster and easier to play (for me) than the nano 7.

Clears, smashes -- in favor of the E-1000
Backhand, drops -- about the same.
drives -- slightly in favor of the nano.

something of interest... most players I lent the rakets to .. adapted to the E series in a shorter time... they were hitting the sweet spot after something like about 4-8 points into the game...

a few caveats... I have observed that my current personal preference (something which I think all reviewers should state by the way, I know of one reviewer here whom I have observed to prefer mid stiff rakets, and he always gives so so opinions on mid flex models...); are 4u mid flex rakets, slightly head heavy rackets. Given this, the nano would be a at disadvantage from the start. For me, and the varsity players it is about the same as the La fleche lf 500 3u, and similar also to the E-3000.

Also the racket was strung at 26 2 knots and has dropped down to about 24 to 23 lbs.. Don't know why the guy I bought it from did that as I requested it to be strung at 27X29 4 knots.. the reason I bought the nano was it was supposed to be a special china team edition and could be strung up to 35 lbs...

@ hemants... sorry for the hijacking of the thread...

    regards

More cowbell! Errrr...sorry...I mean more wrist Sir. :p The NS7000 is less powerful compared to its peers but my no mean is it a weak racket. It can be power in the right hands. :) It's more of a wristy racket.
