    Default lin dan or dan lin

    me and my friends have been arguing for many months now about how to say the world no.1's name.
    is it Lin Dan or Dan Lin? (Lin as first name or Dan as first name)

    (maybe i should of asked him when i met him at AE )

    I am a badminton fan so I call him Lin Dan. If my friend (a person who has no interest in badminton) asked me what was his name then I would say Dan Lin so he would know his last name and first name. (in Canada).

    In China we call a person firstly by his family name Lin then his first name Dan
    So it's Lin dan =p
    But in other countries it's the contrary.

    that well answers the question :P
    all chinese would call him Lin Dan
