The audio codec is WAVE_FORMAT_AC3 and Nero Digital Audio Decoder should be able to handle it.

Thanks kwun for the good work. I just downloaded the AVI, the video quality is great and topics are interesting. However, did you forget to use a shotgun microphone or my speakers are bad....I can barely hear the sound of the clips. In any case, I still enjoy watching it <img>, thanks again for sharing !

unfortunately, i don't have a fancy microphone. all i had was the built-in one from my camcorder. next time i will know better and get a decent microphone instead.

if someone have the know-how on how to improve the sound quality, let me know, i can send you the original sound file..

What you can do is use a video editing software to import the video clips, then amplify the voice from interviewers, and export it again. For example, I am using Video Studio 9 to edit my homemade video and I can control the volume from different sources. Of course, the best is to attach a microphone such as shotgun and point it at the source. The microphone can focus on a single source and filter out surrounding background noise.

The one I use is from ULEAD called "Video Studio". Pinnacle also has a tool with similar name called "Pinnacle Studio". I like "Video Studio" because its simple, and its driver works well with my Sony camcorder. I tried older version of Pinnacle but the driver does not like my camcorder.

    Kwun,

Thanks for this excellent interview. It must be really exciting to talk to a legend. Though the sound wasn't that great but still able to understand one essential statement from Tony: 21 points sucks, it takes the beauty out of the game .

    Great interview!!
