Well, Lee is personally sponsored by Yonex. The rest of the Kimcheon City team wears Victor now, although these ladies are not on the national team and are using Yonex racquets.

Hyun Il now is 29 years old. Still no yet reach the age to retire. He still can play as well as Peter Gade which already 33 years old. I like his yonex equipment, especially when Hyun Il wear the Yonex T shirt and pant.

Its unfortunate he retired , he still is a really good player - but retiring while you are good - I see as a good thing.

I loved watching him at the Bejing Olympics!

I remember that Lee HI had retired at least 2 times already. Lee HI was also the only men's single in the Olympic who lost twice (to Lee CW and Chen Jin).

..it was "officially" started/adopted in August 2006. It was first "tried out"/experimented from December 2005 til the Thomas & Uber Cup tourneys, in May of 2006
