LHI lost the semi against LCW but he played SO well! he played some awesome stroke game especially in the second set. Wonderfull touch! If he produce that kind of form he can win CJ. He is a player I like and respect.Go LHI GO!

A 'stroke game' is a game played with a full repertoire of badminton strokes, with control being the main thrust and the coup-de-grace when an opportunity, almost always created by your stroke/control play, presents itself. Almost all the top singles players are stroke players who will use aggression to finish off a weak return-LHI, LCW, PG, Taufik, LD, etc.

i'll be missing himTT
hi,,im a newbie here,,,
i like lee hyun il,,,he is very calm,,either when he won or lost the game,,he rarely showed emotions^^,,,n he is like "i can chase whereeeeever the shuttlecock goes",,
i was soo sad when i read his comment after he lost to chen jin,,, he said "In the third game Chen showed he has better strength, and I couldn't match his physicality."
"I actually felt relieved after finishing the game. I was trying very hard but unfortunately the result was disappointing. It's a big regret that I've never achieved any Olympic medals."
,,,,"It would be very difficult for me to participate at the next Olympic Games, and this could be my last time participating in one." is he too old to play this game??><!!!,,,(he would be 31 rite?)
i'll be missing him a lotat the next olympic,,but is he going to play at all england??i hope sooooo,,,,

Will LHI retire after the OG?
I really hope not, he is always one of the player I liked to watch. His face expression is always the same regardless of playing at 20-4 or 20-20.

not trying to be negative, I really don't know. sometimes 'stroke' is used to mean 'practice' but it doesn't mean that here, clearly....
