I think the 747 is an older model. Pro Kennex will introduce more rackets model this year so I suggest you to wait a bit longer for the new line up.

 

In 1987 to 1988, Pro-Kennex was very famous in Hong Kong and nearly share 40% in badminton racket market. It's 727, 787, 808, 858 were very very famous in that period, then 767, 747, 797 came out. Pro-Kennex has been using those model numbers and improve the models by Carbonpro, Boronpro, NewBoronpro, NewCarbonpro, Titaniumpro...................

In the Hong Kong International Youth Badminton competition 1993 or 1994 (cannot remember exactly year) I saw a under 18 Chinese Team member was using Pro-Kennex racket.

Pro-Kennex's Super Carbon 1200 is extremely stiff and also pointed to professional players.

If 747 is within your budget, please check with the dealer that the racket can support your ideal tension. If it is OK for your ideal tension, then it will not be a bad choice with Pro-Kennex's quality.
