Gripping a badminton racket.
Hi. I leave my factory grips on my rackets and then use Yonex's super grap to grip over them. However, when I finish gripping my rackets, they feel big and squishy, as opposed to when my friends grip them, they are aren't as big and squishy. What am I doing wrong? I like the handle smaller. (I already try and pull them as tight as I can).

Do your friends use overgrips over the factory grips as well?
How much overlap do you have?
Are they using replacement grips (removing factory grips)?
What is your rackets grip size?
Yonex G3 or G4 or G5 (thicker - thinner)
Victor G3 or G2 (thicker - thinner)

Ask them to show you how to apply it properly. Has to be under constant tight tension.

Have your friends show you how to grip (as visor suggested).

Hmmz....the way the video shows is opposite what i've being doing always.....i would usually use the tapered end with the double-sided tape on the bottom of the handle rather than at the top....then the top portion i would cut it diagonally to taper it again

there is another reverse method
u need not trim at the start
just take the cut thin strip side n stick to the shaft bottom n work it up to cone.
u can cut it when u end it near the cone.

but the thing is that if your grip comes with the brand or model, you cant do like this rite? the brand n model is be upside down..
n if u want it to be the right way up....it shd be considered good for left handed racket n not for right handed
pls correct me if i am wrong
