    Sarawak.

Sarawak do have good players there. Unfortunately not many are on the forum. Just had a spar with Sarawak doubles champ dude. How to fly here and there? You can check with James Chua or look for Sarawak BA hall people. There are good kakis around there. 6 courts. Lorong 1 near BDC RH or Airport. There are quite a few sarawakian playing in JB sunday morning Tiara club 9am.:D

    Hi fren,
Being a place like Sibu, most of the players will be taking time off from the game during CNY. Should you want to find good kakis.why not try SHS in the evenining, Catholic or Red Crescent? I used to play a lot there but have lost touch. If you can tell me your playing standard perhaps (just perhaps) I can put you to someone.

    Dear Kawan,

As you claimed to be an advanced player, may I suggest you check with the ppl at the House of Champions? You will know where the place is if you are a Sibu neng or someone from Sibu who might direct you there. They will be able to put you to some very good kakis in town. If you are what you are, I am sure you will enjoyed many good games in town. After all Mr. Hua Moh has represented the town many times. Sorry I am not in Sibu these days. Otherwise I would have like to welcome you for a game.

    Dear Kawan,
No, I don't know your brother in law Mr. Paul Ngu. Paul and the surname Ngu are common in Sibu and it has been many years since I played at SHS. Yes I play in Sydney. It is at Sydney Boys High School, Moore Park We play on Tuesday nights from 7.00p.m onwards. All the players are mostly state level players who live in the Eastern suburbs. You are welcomed to play with us as we like to welcome advanced players/new good players instead of playing with the same players all the times.Because of the lack of courts, we play mainly doubles.
Wollongong Uni is too far for me to go to play ( almost 80km away). I have played against Wollongong Uni many times in inter-varsity games but we always beat them easily. I used to played for UNSW where we consider ourselves a strong badminton team.

    All the best

I take that you are a Gong uni player. If you mean Sonia's brother or that Dominic and Ben are brothers, Andrew was a double specialist e.t.c,yes I know them. They were such good players that I wasn't good enough to be selected at that time. Long after they were all gone was I able to get into the UNSW team. hehehhe. Those were the days UNSW was the powerhouse of badminton. You would'nt know Syd Uni players like Murray or Anarnd around that time?

    Murray

It is a small world that though we don't know each other, we are drawn by the players we both came across. You sure have a very photogenic memory of all the matches and players you played. After all these events took place 12-14 years ago and yet you can recall them as if it was just yesterday - names of players we were mentioning.I have never met Iggy but now you mentioned that Owen's uncle was Iggy, I now realised from the surname Gan that Iggy was Steven's brother.I used to played against Steven years ago at Macquarie Uni on Sundays and he's a very crafty veteran player. Then Owen would play there as well before he left for Singapore around 1996....
I remembered a badminton player by the name of Penny whom I have played socially at Macquarie Uni at that time and she must be Iggy's daughter?
I last saw Murray about 7 weeks ago and like a lot of players of your era,
he only plays once a while these days. If I do see him, I will pass on your greetings to him. If he does play, it will be at Taren Point in Sutheland with the Friday nights group.
