Whilst i was watching the AE this year where discracefully robertson gave in "Emms showed the true british spirit u go sexy"

Well anyways while i was watching i was looking at the head gear that he was wearing and thinking to myself....... what the hell is that!!!!!!

basically what are the rules and .... anybody who knows the human body will know that heat RISES and comes mostly out of your head so if he is moaning "IM EXHAUSTED :crying: blah blah" why is he wearing this obviouslly it is going to keep heat in and that will act like a microwave for god sake.

i know some of you are going to turn round and say well he needs to have his hair tied back well fair enough he used a headband before so that is good enough but a BANDANA  what a silly thing to wear just another comercialisation from Carlton

what are your views guys and if anyone on here speaks to him can we have some feedback please

    regards
    Galeru

i think it should be ok as it doesnt really cause a distraction to the other side unless gao and zhang really make a big fuss and complain about it. Yeah, if u read the hair thread, trapping heat isnt a smart thing to do.

in fact, if you watch nearly the end of the match, he was trying to squeeze out some excess perspiration from his hair.

I believe it's part of his image. Style..if you want to call it that.

Some people called him a pirate..and I think he is happy being the bad boy of Badminton (British badminton at least)

If you watch tennis... the australian open is on... the heat is usally 100F but a lot of players wear bandana's and even hats. no problem to me... just seems a bit weird on a badminton court...

    eek:eek: .

I wear headbands when i play just because i perspire a lot and got annoyed when sweat got into my eyes...it burns!

I've seen nathan wear a skull cap before..i forget which match/tourney it was for, but that really surprised me. I don't think they absorb moisture as well and are just used to keep your head warm. I guess it's a fashion statement.

well its stupid if you ask me because this means that he is staying hot and not letting heat leave his body therefor when he claims that he is overheated and exhausted does he not realise this dont help

A fashion statement lol if u ask me it looks silly and well his old strip headband is much better

He looks like a Pirate with that thing on, hehe :D

I like Robertson and Emms very much, your right though about him in that match .... he almost gave up in that match .... if not for the coach constantly motivating him from the stands I wonder if he'd be able to stay on focus. Emms was very focused the whole time no matter what.

Robertson is like me when I play a little.. he has to be fired up to play his best...and when he's not his intensity wains.
