Anyone every have any problem buying from first sports in Bankok? I am getting my sister to pickup couple yonex racket ( NS8000 and At800OF), but she doesn't really know much about rackets. Just wondering if anyone has any problem with first sports selling fake rackets?

    thanks.

    Hi ... :)
Please don't worry, You can get the real Yonex rackets from First Sport or Sport Marketing, the shops beside the Thai national stadium in Bangkok.

In my experience, First Sport sells the cheapest genuine racquets in Thailand. Never seen a fake there

FYI Sports Marketing (next door to First Sports) offers competitive prices close to those of First Sports.

There will be a major price adjustment in yonex racket in Thailand according to my sources in Thailand. It will be adjusted upwards by 15 - 20%. Thats the reason why you cannot get anymore stocks in Sports Marketing, First Sports or the other 2 stores at National Stadium. This is to bring in line the prices around the region. I have contacted the Thai sole distributor and one of the stuff confirms that Yonex will only supply more stocks to Thailand only if they adjust the prices upwards because it is causing Sunrise Singapore many problems with their low cost high-end rackets.

I hope any thai members here can do me a favour to continue to monitor the prices of rackets in Thailand. I have just return from a trip to Bangkok just week ago and found out that Sports Marketing is importing more Goosen rackets to replace Yonex Rackets. So is First Sports and the others. Their main complaint is that their cost for Yonex racket has risen. I can assure you that what you parent said is true that there is no more stock left for NS 8000 and AT 8000 in both First Sport and Sports Marketing.

What a pity! I will be in Bangkok tonight. What about the Yonex shop in WTC? Will they change their price policy also?
