hey guys, i just wanted to ask if anybody knows any drills on how to improve on speed bursts, or explosive steps. i was able to read in one of the articles that when you do some footwork drill, especially the clear and net kill drill, you have to make the steps explosive . does anybody know on how to improve the "explosive steps"? thanks.

during the season, my coach would make us do "bunny hops." we sat on our heels, hands on our ears and hopped.
also, there were 2 sets of wall-ups. normal wall-ups, fast and low. then there were the wall-ups were he made us jump as high as we could, land and then do it immediately.

It is best to 'cycle' creatine simular to steroids.......use for 5-6 weeks and have a break from it for a 2-4 weeks. During the break off taking creatine you suffer very little performance drop....well i don't. Taking too much of this I don't think is a good idea but it is by far a really good supplement for explosive speed.....and stamina.
What are the other side effects people suffer? would like to know too?

I have read that long term use of creatin can damage your kidneys. Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. I believe in sticking to normal food and keeping away fra supplements. Agree skipping is great for improving explosiveness on the court.
