    no.

i think you can probably try to use some layer masking magic in photoshop to get the transparency mask. but i am not a photoshop expert myself.

Ah well, yeah I'll have to try and get around it some other way. I was thinking of tracing it but it's too hard to trace the logo accurately as the details are so small... Not to mention I realised I don't have the font :S (which I think is Century Gothic?) Oh well I'll just have to keep thinking. Thanks anyway.

I'll make a new copy of the logo for people to work with. It should only take a few minutes.

(First I have to put up some shelves, so be patient )

Okay, this is a sample at low resolution. Don't use these images. I have better ones.

It's not a perfect copy. Kwun: are there any parts you would like changed/made more exactly like the original logo?

If Kwun would like some changes, then I will fix them first before uploading the full files.

Glad you like it Of course, we must see whether Kwun would like any adjustments before people use it to make banners.

Always, always work in high resolution source, keep the source flexible (vector rather than raster, for example), and don't delete the source files

If you use the link below and refresh the page, the picture changes i think it would be cool if the banner could do that. You would only need 1/2 a dozen different images. Would require a good knowledge of JavaScript though.

    ***edit****

Also it wouldn't be a flashing banner it would just be different when the next page loaded, thus satisfying Kwun's distaste for 'flashy' things (I do agree though flashing images drive me to distraction)

You could just set a cookie; then each time a page is loaded, you increment its value by one and change the <img> source ("src") to the image with that number.

There might be smarter ways, but that's how I would do it. You need a default image as well, for those without javascript/cookies.

Just a stupid suggestion. Can we also add some female players in action picture too? Thanks!

also, for the real guru, think about whether you can make a full width header, grab the "BadmintonCentral.com" title graphics and try to blend that with some background design. the BadmintonCentral.com title must still stand out though.

the best title design is the one that captures the spirit of BC well.
i have attached the PSD of the BC logo. you should be able to layer it above your design in photoshop.

As for the shuttlecocks that have no distinct form, the casual web visitors will not see shuttlecocks. But instead, they will see a blob of something. To me, this turned BC into a shuttlecock shop. Well, ok, I am sold. How much a dozen ?
How can LD be the best ambassador of badminton? FYI, LD's unsporting behaviour at MO06 has been used in Singapore schools as THE example of the worst sportsmanship.Even student athletes who don't know badminton knows about LD. But for the wrong reason. I feel so sorry for LD.But I wish it had not happened because it put badminton in a bad light.( BTW, how long do you think he's gonna be champion?)
To place LCW and PG at the forefront is apt;perhaps to convey their resurgence. In any case I like the idea of the 4 badminton gods. MS is after all the main draw of any tournament.
Great work, gunblade. Appreciate your creativity.

If LD is the #1 player in the sport, then he should be in the prominent position of the banner. Just like Federer in tennis or Tiger Woods in golf, they deserve to be in front and enjoy more publicity. Until one day LD becomes mediocre, he will be replaced by other players. For now, he is the man.

If we strictly design banner by world ranking, then the badder will be full of Chinese players. So I agree to use different players in different countries.
