    ello all...

    need your (professional) advise on my gripsize!:confused:

    Got my armortec 700 G4 and my mp99 G2...

    I've been playing a lot with the mp99 lately, now the problem is
    that my hand is hurting...
    It's aching around my thumb-joint...

    So I switched back to my armortec during that night and played almost
    without any trouble...

    Haven't got the mp99 that long, and I thought it might be also the stiffness
    of the 2U racket that's causing this.
    When I borrowed a mp88 G2 from a friend and played with that, I played with a lot whipping and needed less power to get good clears.:rolleyes:

    So I'm going back to the shop on tuesday and trade my mp99 in for a mp88...
    But I'm a little bit confused bout the gripsize....

    To add: I've got average sized hands, but got good strength in my hands!:D

    Sounds like the grip size maybe too big. Try a smaller grip first.

    Sorry.. have a mp99 2U/G3 instead of G2....:eek:

    So you think it might be caused by getting less whipping-action due to
    the grip-size??

    Then I'll try the G4!:cool::cool:

    I suggest smaller grip size too. When I started to play badminton, I wrapped my G4 handle with thick layer of overgrip. It was a mistake for me because it limited my ability of learning and exploring new skills. Although it generated loud sound, it wasn't translated into speed. Now, I am free of restriction to learn new skills.
