hi guys, im from the uk and play badminton league myself overhere in division 1. Im not a qualified coach but it is something id love to get in to. just a few questions:

what kind of standard does the coach need to be?
does the coach have to be fully qualified?
what standard are the players / students?
is this voluntary position or is their a salary involved?

    cheers

in the mean time feel free to take a look at my site and view my player profile:

Aren't there any "coach-crash-courses" in england? We have them in denmark where it's possible to get a basic education during a weekend. Once you have that you can take a weekend more a higher level and evelope your coaching-skills.

Otherwise there's 9-months elite-coach courses which gives you knowledge about everything you need to know.

    Default My alma mater

I guess my old partner Ambrish either got fired or retired from coaching. MSJ has had a great program ever since I was in high school back in 92-96. The year after I left, we finally beat Newark and ended their amazing 10+ yr winning streak. It'd be a great tragedy if there was no badminton team! From the replies, seems like they've hired someone recently...all I can say is good luck and keep the winning tradition alive!

The UCSD collegiate team ended up with several of the recently graduated Missionites...I'm impressed how good they are coming out of high school nowadays!

We got a coach! She's a new teacher from the school, and she recruited some assistant coaches! We're set for the season. Thanks for looking!

Ambrish now teaches MSJ students as well as Irvington students, actually, I think.
