BAof E does have some 60 % of what you are looking for

but they don't know if they are playable or capable of converting to VHS as VHS was adopted only after 1982.

 

bbn, are you saying prior to 1982 the archive is in film format?

 

I think 16mm film were no longer used for backup after 1976.

After that they switched to magnetic media ie.oxide tapes,such as Beta,Vhs, S format, etc, etc, eventually only VHS survived.

During the period 1976-1982 different formats could not be played on different machines until the industry standardised with
Matsushita as the victor in their VHS tapes.

Now it's DVD,what next?
