I use one as a demo raquet and the other for personal use. The sound of the string is solid. The shuttle seems to come off very quick but no real noticable change in power. I know that sounds a little funny but the string just seems to have a little extra pop. The control at the net is excellent. I've noticed a nice feel on touch shots at the net. Durability is still a question mark as the string jobs are only two weeks old. I will let you know how many games it lasts in both the demo and my personal raquet after they fail. The string is now available in pro shops around Alberta. For reference I have used primarily BG65 in the demos and at different times BG 80 and 70 when the mood strikes me or I know allot of good players will be trying out raquets. If the Nanogy lasts a reasonable amount of time I will string the demo 9000, 8000, and 7000 in Nanogy then get feedback from the players on this.

After numerous demo nights and using the racket for my own personal use about 11 hours of play per week the string broke tonight. Repulsion is very good. Durability was good considering I did demos for 2 weeks straight and used it in league play myself. Power about a 8/10, sound about the same as BG65, but the tension was still good when the string broke tonight. I'm going to string the next one at 27 lbs and see how it holds up and another 800 off at 27 but with BG80 and compare the difference by changing rackets during matches but betweeen games. the 80 should break much easier than the 95. The coil cost of the string is the same as BG65 here in Calgary around $27 including labour.

Dont think so ba...if you buy in bulk i.e. 50 packs from the site that you mentioned, each only US$7.99 which is S$12.45. Based on this cheaper by bulk leh..

    I'm not charming enough lah...
But I'm pretty tempted to try out the strings.
wait for my string to break first.

RM34 most probably includes stringing labour cost....RM30 most probably is without labour cost....

Any reviews from Singaporeans who have tried the string? Is it worth the high price of the string?

    Default I have this

    hello everyone,

my dad bought me a racquet from china, and since i was not there to make any decision making with him, he ended up getting this string strung direct from the yonex store. they said it was really new and was meant to be durable (as indicated already in this forum)

i have not been able to play with the racquet or test the strings yet. i get to do that in a couple days =D

However, i come here because i found these stats on the internet. genuinely translated:

    Repulsion Power: 8
    Feeling: 8
    Shock Absorption: 6
    Control: 6
    Durability: 8

    from bangsbadminton.com or something. lol

i can give some review once i start playing with the string more.

i tried the nanogy 95 strung at 25lbs for about a week. Promptly cut off the string and went back to bg66.

Maybe it didn't like to be strung at 25lbs, or maybe it didnt' like my racquet (nanospeed9k type s), whatever it is i won't be using that string.

shots didn't go as far, felt lots of vibration upon impact, to the point where my shoulder started to get sore and it makes a flat dead sound when hit with

maybe it'll be better at 30lbs coupled with bracers of ogre strength xD

Ahhhhh, another D&D player I see.

NBG95 is a "tougher" string. It's going to play better at a higher tension. Also, it's more of a brute (orge) string.

Compared to BG66, one of the most responsive strings at all tensions, NBG95 will feel a bit numb.

BG66 is great for feel, touch shots, drives. However, for all out power, BG80 and MP do better for power hitters.

Yonex should make BG66 in 0.67mm and 0.68mm thickness. I think somewhere in there would be an ideal string.

    errr..yeah right...the ultimate string..plays like 0.66mm, hits like 0.69, lasts like 0.70mm...

I'll just be happy with micropower, or maybe pg65neon in the near future...feel like i'm, drawing nearer and nearer to the "I'm done testing"-zone...as far as string/rackets/grips go..tension will be a variable as long as I live
