INTI College Malaysia’s Badminton Club will organise a badminton marathon from Feb 24-26. Hosted by Inti’s Bandar Baru Nilai campus, the club invite badminton enthusiasts to realise their dream of playing badminton for 46 hours non-stop, in a bid to create the nation’s longest running marathon. The event is endorsed by the Malaysian Book of Records. Apart from the marathon, participants will be entertained to performances, movie screenings, talk shows and games. All members of society, amateurs and professionals are encouraged to take part. Marathon participants are required to pay a minimal fee of RM10 each, which include a t-shirt and a certificate of participation. The closing date is Feb 17. wa lau eh! 3 days of badminton marathon! Don't know if i can take it or not. I am already too old for that!
wah lau eh... this is literally 'eat-drink-sleep' badminton!! i doubt that participants will be forced to play continuously for 3 days! most probably everyone taking turns to play in maybe 3-4 courts, hence keeping the concept of 'continuous-badminton'. Perhaps 30-minute sessions per-participant until either the legs suffer terrible cramps or wife/girlfriend dragging you home by pinching your ears. time to stock up on ginseng and tongkat ali....
Come one! khwong & psychophant.... we just hop in and play 3-4 hours enuf lar. Just to see look only. You think really want to spend 3 days over there meh. After 3 days my wife will burn out my badminton equipment leh!! We pay Rm10, we can eat, play, get one t-shirt and a certificate of participation. So why not??

My training ok ler... after training no need to 'kena belasah' from you kau kau lor. Only manage to defend one or two attack from you guys. Still loose to you! For the Marathon, we try to go by a group. Because i never join such a event. Somemore is going to break Malaysian Book of Record. I feel comfortable if we can go by one group. So who want to join me?

More info that i get from the person in charge : "The group of 8 people will be playing for a maximum of 2 hours; there will be a change of group after every 2 hours. The games will begin at 8.30 pm – 9.00pm. We shall have official opening between 6.00pm – 8.00pm. We shall give participants from far away convenient time slots to make it easy for them to participate. Player will be allowed take water during the matches, there is no problem, and however the organizers endeavor to control the movement at food and beverages stands in and around the Hall, for purpose of cleanliness and hygiene."

i asked about it , and the registration is RM 10 and an additional RM 15 is for the certificate. Closing date is on the 17th !! anyone wants to register , quick!!! there aint many places left. registration can be done in Inti College Subang Jaya in SS15.
