So.. on a good day, placement game would be enough challenge, and gets us both running all over the court for 1 hour+ per game. All other times.... 15 minutes

i have play badminton for 10years now but never take single seriously until one day a female player challenge me for a game... I always think that I cannot cover the whole court by myself thus playing single will always end up a LAZY ME!
Well did i RUN... I beat her 15-13... CLOSE man... the very reason I won is because I dun wanan lose and from that game onwards I belib single is not that haRd after all!

lol... i think i do have a difference in playing girls and lower-level-than-me players
for lower level... i play a good game, etc... and try to let them work on improving their weaknesses. I may not full on attack and try to score points as much, etc.
and another thing i regard as bad for me ... i do find myself playing easier on girls.. even if they're higher level than me or whatever. meh... it comes down to playing as i would any lower level player and make it a good game, working on my weaknesses as well as helping my opponents with theirs. On the sidenote of a girl who's higher level than me and kicking my ass... I try to play my best and not go easy because... I'M THE ONE LACKING... I'd rather lose and have the respect of the player because I tried my best than lose even worse by not giving any effort at all... that's just bad sportsmanship in general.

for me, i preffer my opponent not playing too easy with me.. (double games)
if the female is intermediate level, i believe she wants the hard game, so she can improve her level. just smash her like you smash male opponent.

As I am not that Good Looking and White as the Danes and English, I always get that "Beast" treatment!
End up paying more on "sensational strategies" just to survive!

One way of telling if the female skill level is their forehand clear in singles.
And female players, if they are good in a mixed doubles, usually have a very reliable forehand drive both for offense and defense.
That's how to tell their skill level after the first impression.

This is the internet. There are no women here ;P
Seriously though. I think there are a max of 7-8 female players on any one night where I play. I know it's prolly just a regional thing but I woulda thought badminton of all sports wouldn't have much of a problem with that.
Personally, I suck too much to try and go easy on anyone regardless of their gender >.>

I don't know if it's relevant.. But whenever I play a girl I try to place the shuttle in her cleavage
(if she has normal t-shirt i just go for the boobs.)
Okay, seriously, when I play girls, they are normally not as good as me. So then I try to make it harder for myself. For example I could decide that I'm gonna do a "clock" i.e. first hit to back left corner, then back right corner, then right front corner, etc etc... or just try to win it by ONLY playing drop shots whatever she does.

Subjective. For the first ten attribute I will go place and occasionally smash. If you go easy on her to much, it might feel like underestimate. By the way, for the last category, I will try to buddy with her.
