if you ever jog or run or even do a brisk walk, do you ever notice any pain, on the sole of your feet?

Friends told me to try trimming down my weight. I'm on the mesomorph side. Big build, but solid. Is there any way to shrink muscle mass? Hehehe
Thank you all for your help and support, it is much appreciated.

As you said big build and not overweight and hence I do not know exactly.
Do you have tight achillies tendon?
That might be a cause too.
Stretching everyday is good. (this is the best I think)
Another way is to get insole.
It helps too.

Wearing supportive socks helped keep my arches from hurting! There really is a big difference instead of just using discounted socks (3 pcs for a hundred pesos)
I cant wait to get my new shoes this weekend (payday today, wooohoo!)

You could always get a pair of insoles. For $37.95 I bought a pair of Archmolds Custom Insoles which customize to your foot by heating them in the oven. They say that they are supposed to help with Plantar Fasciitis, and other arch related pain. I had arch pain after games, and since I have been wearing the insoles it has been way better. www.archmolds.com

taping for Plantar Fasciitis
My sports doctor taught me how to tape my feet for added support. IMHO, taping helps a lot more than wearing a brace or using inserts.
Here's how I tape my feet:

Of course, it's always best to consult a doctor.
