Hi Friends, I have read the posting in this forum, but most referring to east london are out-of date. I dont know if they are still relavent and hence opened this thread. My name is Sridhar and am an intermediate player looking for a group or club in and around East London (Canary Wharf, Ilford, Stradford, Barking area etc.). I do not know many others here who play the game and thought this is a good way to find out and get some company to play. Let me know if anyone is playing around in east london, and i can join you for a game in the evenings ( and anytime on the weekends ). Sridhar
Badminton Clubs Hi, There are 3 clubs who play in Leyton one is Sixform college on wed at 8 to 10pm then there is Leyton youth centre Tuse at 7 to 9pm next is Forest School on friday at 8 to 10pm there all use feathers have mix level of play . Hi guys, I've just discovered a place in island gardens just outside of the Island Gardens tube station where courts can be booked per hour (£7). All I need now are players. Anyone interested? Island Gardens is only 10 mins away from CanaryWharf. This is ideal for anyone in Island Gardens, Mudchute, Crossharbour, South Quay, Heron Quays and Canary Wharf. I am mainly a singles player and this is one of the rare opportunities to get singles games in the UK. I noticed that singles isn't very common in this country. Hi all, Just so you know that there is also a new(ish) club running on Sat at 2-5pm near Shadwell. Its at Bishops Challenor School (Hardinge Street) We cater for all levels. The more competitive players are playing Middlesex Div 3 (our first year) and Hammersmith Div 1 but the ladies are in a higher Div in Middlesex. We try to get the beginners playing a few games with those of higher standards to help improve their game. badminton clubs in stratford and whitechapel hi if u are of at least an intermediate to advance standard then i would suggest 2 clubs that i currently play at. sarah bonnell school, stratford, thursdays, 7-9 and mulberry girls school 1-4. ill give u further details if ur interested. wai

Hi does anybody know of any courts that can be booked for a reasonable price in east london (redbridge). The price fine if you play at a club. but i just want to book a court for an hour to play badminton with my wife.
