I've been playing for a few years now, and have played with an iso 80vf for the past 3 years. The other day I had a pretty nasty clash with a doubles partner, cracked the frame. I can order rackets from the club I play at, and have narrowed it down, a mp30 for $68, and an AT500 for $88. Is the AT500 much better, or could i just save a few dollars by going for the mp30? I'm just wondering if the 500 is worth the extra $20, since I'm kinda budgeted.

    a real AT500 for 88 usd is a bargain. It's 140 usd here.
both iso 80vf and mp30 are beginner racket.
have u check out the AT300?

Yeah, the AT500 is definetly a steal for $88. Thanks for the advice, I kinda figured the AT500 was a better deal. I just got back from the local club, and tested out an mp30, the AT500, and an AT700. the 500 felt the best I thought, so I got it. Thanks again.

cheap for AT500. :) but if you have also tried AT700, i guess i would risk it and go all out for a better racket coz AT700 ist definately IT!. :D
The AT500 felt the best of course at the beginning. i had that feeling too and ended up buying 2 at the same time. now i have 5 though. 3 AT700's came my way and now i am trying to sell the AT500 which is about half a year old. :crying:
but since you already got the AT500...no more discussion needed then.. :D
