OK for stringing i see that some ppl use main and cross tensions(i am one of them), but i am just wondering: WHY DO WE DO THIS? Whats the point of a 2lb diff b/w main and cross?
i got 24cross 22main... does it affect the playing of the racquet in anyway? What happens when u string it at say 23lb all around?

I've checked with my favorite stringer and he said that : when we talk about 22 lbs string tension, actually we mean 24 lbs cross and 22 lbs main.

Go ahead and try it on a racquet you're about to throw out. Think circle.Shaun
