    Hi everyone!

I just joined today. I'm from Westfield, New Jersey and have never played badminton on an actual team, but I've been playing it with my friends since I was 8 years old and in gym class in high school. My high school and college didn't have badminton teams or clubs, but I always tried to play it when I had the time in the summer.

I'm in no way World Championship or Oylmpic material, but I can dream! I thought I was one of the few people around who liked badminton, and I didn't know there were clubs for it and even tournaments.

I look forward to chatting with all of you on badminton!

    Vrinda :)

Hi, I usually wake up at 5AM (do my morning rituals...) and report to school at 8AM. I live in Queens but the school that I am teaching is in Manhattan. While heating my breakfast I still have time to check my email. Hope you have a good day. I am sooo excited to learn to play badminton but considering the nippy weather, well, I need to check it out.

Badminton can double as an indoor and outdoor sport, so all the better that there is cold weather. You can still play it!
